75th Republic day!!

The 75th republic day celebration was a splendid occasion with the cool weather, robust march past and formations by the scouts and guides, foot tapping songs by the choir group aged 8 to 15, an emotional yet patriotic dance drama, a wonderful speech by a 6th grader spelling out her vision for her future India and an aerobics show highlighting AVV's allegiance to the mission: Prerna-Swasthya ki Ore!!! The two honourable dignitaries gracing the occasion, Ms. Reena Raj Rastogi, the Chief Guest, a social reformer and green activist associated with Savitri Urban Food Forest and Dr. Sangita Patel, Chairperson, SOCLEEN whose work in making the NGO stand for a clean environment needs no mention, were spellbound and inspired themselves by the day's proceedings and their speeches accordingly were equally electric. It focussed on clean and green environment, mindful energy consumption, resourceful waste management and innovative human interventions... The parents and students participating and in attendance felt motivated to carry our vision ahead!!!
