On the occasion of the 72nd independence day, we redefined the true essence of independence with an assortment of ideas and items,with a sprinkling of patriotism and nationalism reinterpreted and with a strong sense of duty and responsibility....
Flag hoisting,a host of patriotic numbers sung by all age groups,a glaring reminder of our duties through a speech ,the full song that gave birth to our National anthem ,a vibrant chirpy morning with two tiny grade 2 hosts,a nail biting skit competition on a famous monument and the story associated with it from various parts of India, and two mind blowing energetic acts by grade 3 on foot tapping patriotic numbers made the morning electric.
What better way to celebrate independence day than to feel free and enjoy.....!!!!!
AVV celebrated the world dance day , Gujarat Day and the Labour day in a unique and fun filled manner.
Speeches in Gujarati, customised cards for our support staff,sweet packs and lovely words were interspersed with a dance competition that saw segments related to support staff day and Gujarat day from grade 2 to 10.
The 69th republic day celebrations was a mini yet grand affair replete with flag hoisting, rendition of patriotic songs, fashion show on costumes from across India and a few other countries(ISA activity),a skit competition between the four houses on unsung heroes, symbols of patriotism....., a lathi display and the highlight of the day, presence of our PTA members to encourage the performers!!!! Meanwhile, the winners of the skit competition are : the yellow house or Ekta house... Congratulations and once again wishes for being citizens of this great Republic!!!!!
As the nation commemorated its 70 years of independence, Anand Vidya Vihar celebrated Independence Day with flag hoisting followed by patriotic songs sung by the AVV choir and a patriotic song played on the synthesizer by Pari Shah, a class 2 student. Class X students added to the fervour with their group song, exhibiting and instilling pride in being a part of such a glorious nation. The head boy and the head girl emphasized the need to protect the unity and integrity of the country. Rajvi Megha, a member of blue house and Mrs. Kukoo Mukherjee, teacher, reminded students the need to respect freedom and in turn, respecting the struggles of many brave hearts. Arise, awake and stop not……………
The school's annual concert,like every year,was theme based with stories from the tales of King Vikramaditya and the vampire...... The stories, the enthusiasm,the execution, the costumes,the team work or the fabulous performers ; which of these in the production, created an impact was difficult to pronounce!!!!!!! The management,staff and the fabulous AVVites are elated with the ripples created and aver to come back with a bang the next year...... Thank you parents,well wishers and all friends for the unflinching support!
