We at AVV believe in going the extra mile to make sure that our students get the best of academic as well as co-curricular resources to grow and become better versions of themselves. Workshops and seminars are conducted on our campus for students to observe and acquire new pieces of knowledge, get hands-on training from experts, network with like-minded students who share similar interests, and more.
We conducted several workshops on diverse subjects ranging from New age Bloom's taxonomy to Applied drama in curriculum, from the pedagogy of experiential learning to gamification in learning, NEP 2020, power of storytelling to augmented reality, care & compassion for the teachers. The knowledge and skills gained from this fest will help the teachers inculcate more efficient teaching techniques in the classroom.
Ms. Poornima Menon, our honourable principal, conducted a series of workshops throughout the year in association with CBSE's group of renowned and prestigious educators who have made a mark in the field of education. The topics covered by her during these sessions are Understanding multiple intelligence, Gamification in Learning, Good Communication yields Great Results, Story Telling Teaching Technique, 21st Century Learning Skills, Leadership Training, Essential of Lesson Plan, Classroom Management, and much more. These workshops were directed towards educators and high authorities from various schools across India.
The Finance Career Counseling session was headed by Mr. Shailesh Bhala, a finance professional and alumnus of BITS Pilani, with work experience in renowned international companies such as GOLDMAN, Morningstar, MSCI, etc. It was directed towards giving the students of senior secondary advice if they wished to pursue a career in Finance right after 12th. He introduced them to investment banking, venture capital, portfolio management, equity research, and wealth management. CFA (USA) which a global finance certification was the highlight of the event. Mr. Bhala urged the students to prepare for CFA early on in student life so acquiring it becomes easier.
The DikMantra guidance and counselling series headed and conducted by the highly experienced Mr. Pawan Dwivedi, a known counsellor and registrar at Parul University, was a major hit amongst the student body of our school. It provided them with the much needed clarity about the impending higher education specialisation and selection process. These sessions were conducted both online and offline so everyone could benefit from the same.
A massive two day workshop on stress agents and managing it was conducted for grades 3 to 12 by the Psychology department students and this interactive session did good to bust myths, show directions and pacify young minds of the said grades.

A two-day workshop was organised for students of class 10, 11 and 12 on Drone Making by the Parul University's students of engineering. The students gained a lot of practical learning exposure in the forming of drafting, designing, workings, handling, assembling and maintenance of drones.
To expand the scope of career opportunities, it is imperative that we help our students gain a better perspective of what it takes to be a professional working in a real work environment. Subject specific experts grace our campus regularly to give students field insights and requirements. Mr. B.N. Tiwari, Deputy Chief Manager - TOI Vadodara, is one such expert who visited us recently and talked to the students about the functioning style in the famed media house, possible visits and scope of internship.
Gyan Sarovar Sahodaya is yet another series of workshops where our respected faculty members engaged in gaining and imparting an exchange of knowledge with other esteemed faculty members of various educational institutions. Out of the few teachers that were selected from the city to engage in this event, AVV's teaching fraternity representatives such as Seema Kadri (HOD: Chemistry), Sunita Shah (HOD: Business & Accounts), Usha Pandit (HOD: Social Science) and Sheetal Upadhyay (HOD: Sanskrit) were a part of the guest lecturers.
